MESSAGE FROM DR. SERRÃO
Face coverings are required to enter the office.
What an unbelievable time it has been and we hope that you are all well! My staff and I are looking forward to seeing all of your beautiful faces again and have implemented some new policies for your protection and safety.
Our practice will be following the guidelines set by the CDC and the State of Florida. You will have to complete a screening form and have your temperature checked upon your arrival, we will also be requiring face coverings to enter the office. Appointment times will be limited and spaced to reduce contact with others. You may wait in your car and call when you arrive, our staff will call you when we are ready for you so you may be taken directly to a treatment room. All team members have been tested with negative results and will be wearing protective equipment. As always, the treatment rooms are disinfected between patients and hand sanitizer will be available. All surgical patients will be required to have COVID19 testing and the details will be given to you at your pre-operative visits. Please call us with any questions or concerns, we are here for you.

Dear Patients and Friends,
I hope this email finds you and your loved ones safe and well. You have all probably received dozens of emails about COVID-19, notifying you of cancellations and precautionary measures that have been implemented. I wanted to reach out to each of you, not only to wish you health, but to inform you of the measures being taken in my practice to protect all of us.
First of all, the government guidelines recently issued for protecting us against the Coronavirus are things I have done since I began practicing medicine more than 30 years ago. Patient safety always has been, and always will be, my priority.
In order to further protect each of you and adhere to the recommendations of social distancing, we will be taking you into an exam room upon your arrival and will be limiting your contact with other scheduled patients by spreading out the appointment times. Our exam rooms are cleaned thoroughly after each patient, and the entire facility is cleaned at the end of the day.
Secondly, the outpatient surgical center is temporarily closed in compliance with Governor DeSantis’s mandate to stop all elective non-essential surgeries. If you had surgery scheduled, we have already contacted you and will remain in close contact with you during these times.
Finally, we will remain open in order to provide medical care to you and your loved ones. However, we have implemented new hours during this outbreak as follows: Monday through Friday from 8 am until 1 pm. These hours are subject to change on a daily basis as a precautionary measure and will be posted daily on Facebook and Instagram. Please follow us at RealDrOrlando for daily updates and availability. Dawn and Stephanie will also call you if your appointment has been changed.
