Meet Dr. Serrão
Dr. John Serrão has been practicing in Orlando for almost thirty years as a Board Certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology. After extensive training, he began to pursue his second passion of aesthetics and anti-aging medicine. Dr. John Serrão opened the expansion of his practice, Serrão Rejuvenation Center, in 1999. He specializes in cosmetic-plastic gynecology, cosmetic surgery of the female patient, and anti-aging medicine. Dr. John Serrão is a Fellow of the American Academy of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and Fellow of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the Autonomous University of Guadalajara. Dr. John Serrão performed his residency at Maryland General Hospital where he received national recognition as “Resident of the Year.” His reputation for excellence can be experienced in all aspects of his practice.
Dr. Serrão’s training includes obstetrics, gynecology, cosmetic gynecology, cosmetic surgery, and anti-aging medicine. His previous training and expertise with intra-abdominal lasers, laparoscopic surgery, and precise injection techniques, assisted him in the transition into his cosmetic practice, along with countless hours of continuing medical education. He has done several preceptorships with world renowned physicians in the field of aesthetics and cosmetic surgery at Harvard University, John Hopkins School of Medicine, and Duke University. He has trained with some of the best including: Dr. Todd Malan, Dr. Adam Ostrzenski, Dr. David Matlock, Dr. Alexander Simopoulos, Dr. Dwight Reynolds, Dr. Marco Pelosi, and Dr. Marta Rendon. Dr. Serrão is among a select group of highly trained doctors who specialize in VASER LipoSelection, Body Jet Water Lipo, Laser Lipolysis, Natural Augmentation, Natural Fat Transfer, Sculptra Aesthetic and Vaginal Rejuvenation.
